Our Journey

2013
A spinoff of CEA, Theranexus was founded as a biotech company focused on rare neurological diseases through a proprietary R&D platform.
2017
The company went public on Euronext Growth Paris to support the development of its clinical pipeline.

2018-2023
Theranexus advanced its research programs with a focus on Batten-1 and patient-adapted formulations such as TX01, targeting Gaucher disease and Niemann-Pick type C. At the same time, the company expanded its ASO platform to address additional rare neurological diseases and some brain cancers.
2024
Theranexus signs a key partnership agreement with Exeltis (Insud Pharma group) for the distribution of TX01 in Europe and Latin America, with an expected commercialization starting in 2027.
